After you submit your Financial Assistance application for the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, you’ll see a confirmation banner at the top of your Coursera homepage letting you know that we got your application.
If you applied for Financial Assistance for the Google IT Support Professional Certificate but did not get it:
Make sure you meet the application requirements.
Common reasons for denial include:
- You’re not located in the U.S.
- You didn’t fully complete all required application fields
- You didn’t meet the required word minimums.

If you do not qualify for Financial Assistance, you can audit the Google IT Support Professional Certificate courses and learn the material for free without earning the certificate. You can also pay $49 per month for full access to the certificate program.
Wait for the review period to be over. Financial Assistance applications take up to seven days to review.
Check your email. When filling out your Financial Assistance application, make sure you use a real, correct email address. Once your Financial Assistance application is reviewed, you’ll get an email letting you know. If it has been more than seven days since you applied and you have not received an email about your application, your application did not go through, and you will need to apply again.
Make sure your Financial Assistance is still active. If you receive an invitation to Financial Assistance, you will have 14 days to enroll with Financial Assistance. Once enrolled, you will have access to the the program until May 8th, 2019.
